How important is the Jesuit Tradition to students?: Spring Hill College students pride themselves in becoming responsible leaders in service to others. Students participate in both classroom and out-of-classroom activities that enhance their life skills.

How safe is the campus?: Spring Hill College is located in one of the safest areas of Mobile. The campus has a 24-hour security team that is composed of vehicle patrols, guardhouse security, and nightly foot patrols.
Is there an emergency alert system in place?: Yes. We can communicate with all members of the campus community in the event of an emergency via an emergency notification system. This system is known as the RaveAlert Emergency Notification System, a high-speed notification system that is capable of sending messages by telephone, cell phone, digital pager, fax, wireless PDA devices, email, and LED signs. Messages can be sent to thousands of people in as little as 30 seconds. Information can also be accessed by calling (251) 380-4111 or toll-free 1-877-380-4111.
What is the hurricane evacuation procedure on campus?: The Spring Hill College Administration monitors tropical storms and weather systems throughout the typical hurricane season (June 1 to Nov. 30). The college also tracks unusually cold weather systems. In the event of evacuation due to a weather threat, all members of the campus community are notified through the campus community emergency alert system.

What is the College's liturgy schedule?: Eucharistic Liturgies are regularly scheduled during the academic year when classes are in session. There are Sunday and daily liturgies on campus. In addition, there are Eucharistic liturgies with specific themes for occasions involving the college community.
