What is the SAA?
The Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) program is sponsored by the Office of Alumni Programs at Spring Hill College. Student Alumni Ambassadors work together to spread the enthusiasm, energy, and resources of Spring Hill College to alumni and students while developing a lifelong connection and loyalty to the College. Through networking events, volunteering, and working with one another the SAA provides students with the opportunity to develop skills to be a proactive alumni leader.
The Office of Alumni & Parent Programs asks students to give their time, talents and ideas to the program. The following are some of the benefits for Student Alumni Ambassadors:

- National Alumni Association Board representation
- Represent Spring Hill at hometown alumni events
- Learn valuable information about the Alumni Association
Students involved in SAA will meet twice a semester to enhance the relationship between students and the Alumni Office. In addition to these meetings, SAA members will represent the student body at special events.
Who is involved?
The SAA will consist of a select group of students with a variety of interests, majors, and backgrounds. A committee will select 10-15 students based on several points. Students must be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year of college in the fall of 2012, must have demonstrated leadership experience, must have strong communication skills, and must be involved on and off campus. Students are to maintain a 2.5 GPA, and behave in a manner consistent with the Spring Hill College Handbook. Students must support the college with professionalism and respect for the college’s good name.

How do I apply for SAA?
The next application process will begin in August 2013. Visit our table at BadgerExpo in the LeBlanc Ballroom on Thursday, August 29 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. to pick up an application and to learn more about the program. The deadline for applications is September 4, 2014. Qualified candidates will be contacted for interview, and decisions will be made by September 9, 2013.
