Busy weekend for badgers
By: Kearney Cole, Spring 2013

There is always something to do for students on Spring Hill’s campus, and the weekend of March 16th and 17th was no different. The sun was out making for a beautiful weekend, and the campus was swarming with philanthropy events. Philanthropy events are always a great way to take a break from studying, get together with friends, and have fun while raising money for a good cause. This particular weekend was a busy one for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Punta Gorda, Belize-- An experience through the International Service Immersion Trip
By: Kearney Cole, Spring 2013

As a junior at Spring Hill College, I have been given the opportunity to participate in three trips with the International Service Immersion Program through Campus Ministry. I am involved in a lot of different groups and organizations at Spring Hill: Delta Gamma, Student Alumni Ambassadors, Badger Connection guide, caller for Phon-a-thon, and a member of the Advertising and Public Relations Organization. However, traveling to Central America to serve through Campus Ministry has been my favorite experience while being at Spring Hill.
